Low Port Centre

A purpose-built outdoor pursuits centre located in the centre of Linlithgow (West Lothian), the Low Port Centre is located off Blackness Road close to Low Port Primary School. Opened in 1987, the Centre works with local residents and schools to provide outdoor education facilities; managing sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and kayaking on Linlithgow Loch, as well as providing access to snow sports, mountaineering, climbing at nearby crags and quarries, orienteering at venues such as Beecraigs and Polkemmet Country Park, and mountain biking along the Union Canal and beyond. The Centre provides catered accommodation for groups of up to 36 people, together with a games hall, indoor climbing wall, lounge and outdoor education laboratory.
