Cloak Burn

A tributary of the River Calder in W Renfrewshire, the Cloak Burn forms as the Kaim Burn in the hills to the north of Lochwinnoch. It becomes the Cloak Burn in the vicinity of Knockbartnock and flows south for a half-mile (1 km), joining the Calder a similar distance northwest of Lochwinnoch. At this point are the ruins of the substantial Calder Glen Mill, established on the burn in 1814 for the carding and spinning of wool.
