St Andrew's West Church

Located on Upper Newmarket Street in the centre of Falkirk, St. Andrew's West Church lies just in front of Falkirk Trinity Church. This red sandstone construction contrasts with the surrounding buildings and was built 1894-96 as Falkirk Free Church to the designs of local architect James Strang (1855 - 1940) at a cost of 8100. Its 39.6-m (130-foot) octagonal spire, mounted on a four-stage tower, is a notable landmark.

The interior was refreshed in 2013. The organ is by Ingram & Co. of Edinburgh and was installed in 1913 and there is some fine stained glass, which includes a depiction of St. Modan and the town's arms and motto.
