Torduff Hill

A complex little summit, which is a foothill of the Pentland Hills in the SW of the City of Edinburgh, Torduff Hill rises to 252m (826 feet) a quarter-mile (0.5 km) southwest of Bonaly Tower and a mile (1.6 km) south of Colinton. The summit provides remarkable panoramic views over Edinburgh and Torduff Reservoir lies immediately to the northwest. Armstrong's map of 1773 names this Torbrack Hill.
