Falkirk Grahamston Station

A modern railway halt located immediately to the north of the town centre, Falkirk Grahamston Station (Gael: Baile a'Ghreumaich) lies on the line which connects Edinburgh with Stirling and also offers services on the Cumbernauld Line. The modern station was opened on 28th April 1986 by Councillor James F. G. Anderson, the Convenor of Central Regional Council. It is one of three stations in Falkirk, the others being Falkirk High Station and Camelon, and replaced the former Grahamston station built in 1850. It is preceded by Polmont Railway Station, 3 miles (5 km) to the east southeast, and followed by Camelon, 1¼ miles (2 km) to the west northwest. Used by around 0.5 million passengers per year (2013), is operated by ScotRail and is staffed part-time.
