Caisteal Abhail

A prominent and particularly craggy mountain peak, with steep sides, in N Arran, Caisteal Abhail rises to 859m (2818 feet) overlooking Glen Sannox to the east, a half-mile (1 km) north of Cir Mhor and 3 miles (5 km) west southwest of Sannox. This mountain is classified as a Corbett and forms the chest of the distinctive ridge profile known as the Sleeping Warrior.
