Gairich

A mountain to the south of Loch Quoich in the Lochaber district of Highland Council Area, Gairich rises to a height of 919m (3015 feet) and qualifies as a Munro. Its name is derived from the Gaelic for 'roaring'. The lower flanks of the peak are particularly rocky, and the summit is a broad ridge with a massive cairn.
