A modest hill in the west of the Rhins of Galloway in Dumfries and Galloway, Killantringan Fell rises to 151m (495 feet) a quarter-mile (0.4 km) east southeast of Killantringan farm and a half-mile (1 km) northwest of Dunskey House. Its summit is marked by an Ordnance Survey triangulation pillar.
