A grassy summit in the NW of Inverclyde, Burneven Hill rises to 188m (616 feet) a mile (1.7 km) east southeast of Cloch Point and 2 miles (3 km) southwest of the centre of Gourock. Castle Levan lies a half-mile (1 km) to the north and is said to be haunted.
