A distinctive summit on Deeside in Aberdeenshire, Mulloch (occasionally Mullock Hill) rises to 281m (921 feet) 1¼ miles (2 km) northeast of Dinnet. A large cairn at its summit is traditionally considered to be the grave of a Danish king, but was probably the foundation of a hill-fort. The cairn is built from granite boulders and is 15m (60 feet) in diameter and 1.4m (5 feet) in height. There is a pipe tune called Mulloch Cairn.
