Warout Stadium

A modest sport stadium on Warout Road in Glenrothes (Fife), Warout lies a quarter-mile (0.5 km) south of the town centre. It was built in 1971-72 for the Glenrothes Development Corporation and is now the home of Glenrothes Football Club and Glenrothes Junior Football Club. The stadium has a nominal capacity of 5000 and contains a grass football pitch surrounded by a cinder running track. There is a grass embankment with hedge above on three sides and a single covered stand on the western side, which includes 730 bench-seats and a social club. There are no floodlights but there are three additional grass football pitches outside the stadium to the west.
