Ben Screel
(Beinn Sgritheall)

A mountain in W Highland Council Area, Ben Screel (Gael: Beinn Sgritheall) rises steeply from the north shore of Loch Hourn to a height of 981m (3195 feet). Its northern flanks contain numerous corries, whilst the southern flanks, above the Loch contain, steep crags and scree slopes. The name Beinn Sgritheall is derived from the Gaelic for "hill of screes".
