Drumwhillan Hill

An elongated little hogback in The Machars of Dumfries and Galloway, Drumwhillan Hill rises to 102m (334 feet) immediately to the north of the A75 Trunk Road, 2½ miles (4 km) east northeast of Glenluce. This is part of an extensive drumlin field, aligned NNE-SSW indicating the direction of glacial flow. There is another drumlin named Drumwhillan 4½ miles (7 km) to the east.
