Derniemore Hill

An elongated whaleback summit in The Machars of Galloway, Derniemore Hill rises above Dergoals Moss to 109m (357 feet), to the north of Birrel Hill and 3¾ miles (6 km) east northeast of Glenluce. This is part of an extensive drumlin field and is aligned NNE-SSW indicating the direction ice flow within an ancient glacier.
