Knocklyoch

A modest hogback hill in The Machars of Galloway, Knocklyoch rises to 103m (337 feet) on the left bank of the Tarf Water, 6 miles (10 km) east northeast of Glenluce. Knocklyoch is one of a number of drumlins in the area, all aligned NNE-SSW indicating the direction of ice flow within an ancient glacier.
