Derlongan

An elongated summit in The Machars of Galloway, Barfad rises to 98m (321 feet) to the south of the A75 Trunk Road, 4¼ miles (7.2 km) east northeast of Glenluce. This little hill has its principal axis aligned NNE-SSW suggesting the direction of ice flow within an ancient glacier.
