Knockbreck

A hogback in Dumfries and Galloway, Knockbreck rises to just beyond 70m (229 feet) overlooking Kirkcowan to the east. The hill is part of an extensive drumlin field which covers much of The Machars, with its principal axis aligned NNE-SSW indicating the direction of glacial flow. There is another Knockbreck, which is also a drumlin, located just 2½ miles (4 km) to the west.
