Nuttree Hill

A lowly hillock on the left bank of the River Bladnoch in Dumfries and Galloway, Nuttree Hill rises to just above 60m (196 feet) a mile (1.8 km) north northwest of Spittal and 2 miles (3 km) southeast of Kirkcowan. Aligned NNW-SSE, indicating the direction of ice flow, this is one of an extensive drumlin field covering much of The Machars.
