Lady Hill

One of two little hogback summits located within a loop of the Tarf Water in Dumfries and Galloway, Lady Hill rises to 90m (295 feet) in The Machars, 2¼ miles (3.5 km) southwest of Kirkcowan. This is one of a number of drumlins in the area and is aligned NNE-SSW indicating the direction of ice flow. Bank Hill lies a quarter-mile (0.4 km) to the east. There is another Lady Hill, which is also a drumlin, lying 2¼ miles (3.5 km) to the east.
