Barquhill Hill

A hogback in Dumfries and Galloway, Barquhill Hill rises to just beyond 65m (213 feet) a mile (1.5 km) south southeast of Clugston Loch and 1½ miles (2.4 km) southwest of Spittal. This is one of a number of drumlins in The Machars and its principal axis is aligned N-S suggesting the direction of ice flow within an ancient glacier. Confusingly, there is another Barquhill Hill just 2 miles (3 km) to the north northwest.
