Cairney Hill

An oval summit in S Galloway, Cairney Hill rises to 74m (242 feet) immediately to the south of High Barness and 2¼ miles (3.5 km) west of the settlement of Bladnoch. This is one of a number of drumlins in The Machars and is aligned NNE-SSW indicating the direction of ice flow.
