Beinn Mhic Mhonaidh


(Beinn Mhic-Mhonaidh)

An imposing elongated mountain lying between Glen Orchy and the head of Glen Strae, 5½ miles (9 km) northeast of Dalmally in NE Argyll and Bute, Beinn Mhic Mhonaidh rises to a height of 796m (2611 feet). Classified as a Corbett, it takes its name from the Gaelic for 'hill of the son of the moor'.
