A hogback in The Machars of Galloway, Knockmore Hill rises to just beyond 60m (196 feet) in Torhousemuir, lying to the south of Knockmore Farm, 2¾ miles (4.5 km) west northwest of Wigtown. This is one of a number of drumlins in this area and is aligned NNW-SSE indicating the direction of ice flow.
