Drumlane Hill

An elongated hogback in The Machars of Galloway, Drumlane Hill rises to just beyond 65m (213 feet) a mile (1.8 km) northeast of Torhousemuir and 1¼ mile (2 km) south southwest of Causeway End. This is part of an extensive drumlin field, with its principal axis aligned NNW-SSE indicating the direction of flow of an ancient ice sheet which once covered this area.
