Drummahammy

An elongated whaleback in The Machars of Dumfries and Galloway, Drummahammy rises to just beyond 70m (229 feet) a mile (1.6 km) east of Stairhaven and a similar distance southwest of Whitefield Loch. This is a drumlin, with its principal axis aligned N-S indicating the direction of flow of an ancient ice sheet that covered this area.
