Sgurr a' Chaorachain
(Sgurr a' Ghaorachain)The towering rugged summit of Sgurr a' Chaorachain (probably erroneously, Sgurr a' Ghaorachain) in the West Highlands rises to 792m (2598 feet) a mile (1.5 km) west southwest of Loch Coire nan Arr and 5 miles (8 km) east southeast of Applecross. It is characterised by its surrounding ridges and fine corries to the north and south. The Bealach na Ba road climbs spectacularly along its southern flank. This mountain is classified as a Corbett.
