Winetrees Hill

A hogback in The Machars of Galloway, Winetrees Hill rises to 40m (131 feet) on the right bank of the River Bladnoch, a quarter-mile (0.5 km) southwest of the village of Bladnoch. Unnamed on modern Ordnance Survey maps, this is one of a number of drumlins in this area and is aligned NNW-SSE indicating the direction of ice flow.
