A summit in The Machars of Galloway, Rouchan Hill rises to just beyond 95m (311 feet) a quarter-mile (0.5 km) northwest of Glasserton and 2 miles (3 km) west southwest of Whithorn. This is a drumlin, one of many in this area, deposited beneath an ancient ice sheet.
