Drumagilloch

An elongated hillock in The Machars of Dumfries and Galloway, Drumagilloch has two summits which both rise to just beyond 85m (278 feet) between Cairn Hill and Roucan Hill, 2 miles (3 km) west of Whithorn. It is more than ¾ mile (1.2 km) in length but only 200m (656 feet) in width. This is part of an extensive drumlin field, with its principal axis aligned NE-SW indicating the direction of ice flow within an ancient glacier.
