Mill Hill

Located in The Machars of Dumfries and Galloway, Mill Hill is the only one of a line of drumlins which is named on modern Ordnance Survey maps and the highest of the four, rising to 86m (282 feet). It lies a half-mile (0.5 km) north of Appleby and 3½ miles (5.5 km) west northwest of Whithorn. There is another Mill Hill 4 miles (6.5 km) to the north.
