Drumacrae

An oval hillock in The Machars of Galloway, Drumacrae rises to 45m (147 feet) to the west of Broughton, 2 miles (3 km) west of Cruggleton Bay and 2½ miles (4 km) north of Whithorn. This is part of an extensive drumlin field, with its principal axis aligned NNE-SSW indicating the direction of ice flow of an ancient glacier.
