Drummond Hill

A hogback in The Machars of Dumfries and Galloway, Drummond Hill rises to 52m (170 feet) a mile (1.6 km) west of Broughton and 1¼ miles (2 km) northeast of Castlewigg. This is one of a number of drumlins in this area, aligned NNE-SSW suggesting the direction of flow of an ancient ice sheet.
