Drumcapenoch

One of a pair of well-defined drumlins located to the west of the slightly loftier Drumbreach in The Machars of Dumfries and Galloway, Drumcapenoch rises to 64m (209 feet) to the southwest of the settlement of Drummoddie, 3 miles (5 km) southwest of Sorbie. This is part of an extensive drumlin field, with its principal axis aligned NE-SW indicating the direction of glacial flow.
