Drumdon

A little hogback in The Machars of Galloway, Drumdon rises to just beyond 60m (196 feet) a half-mile (1 km) west of Drummoddie and 1½ miles (2.5 km) northeast of the White Loch of Myrton. This is one of a number of drumlins hereabouts, aligned NE-SW suggesting the direction of flow of an ancient ice sheet which once covered this area.
