Mill Hill

A summit in The Machars of Galloway, Mill Hill is linked to Kiln Hill to the west northwest and rises to just beyond 25m (82 feet) midway between Sorbie and Garlieston. Both hillocks are drumlins, part of an extensive drumlin field hereabouts, with their principal axes aligned WNW-ESE indicating the direction of glacial flow. There is another more prominent Mill Hill located just 2½ miles (4 km) to the west northwest.
