Pen Hill

Pen Hill is well-defined drumlin in The Machars of Galloway, the most southwesterly of a group of five which lie to the west of Little Airies farm. It rises to 68m (223 feet) 1¾ miles (2.8 km) west of Sorbie. Deposited beneath an ancient ice sheet, these are all aligned NE-SW indicating the direction of flow.
