Moudie Hill

An elongated hogback in The Machars of Galloway, Moudie Hill rises to 76m (249 feet) 1¼ miles (2 km) northeast of Airyhassen and (4.5 km) west northwest of Sorbie. This is one of a number of drumlins in this area, deposited beneath an ancient glacier and aligned NE-SW suggesting the direction of ice flow.
