Crotteagh Hill

A summit in The Machars of Dumfries and Galloway, Crotteagh Hill rises to just above 120m (393 feet) within plantation forest a quarter-mile (0.5 km) southeast of Loch Ronald and 4 miles (6.5 km) west northwest of Kirkcowan. Crotteagh Hill represents one of a number of drumlins in this area, aligned NNE-SSW suggesting the direction of ice flow within an ancient glacier.
