Sgurr an Doire Leathain


(Sgùrr an Doire Leathain)

One of seven Munros on the South Glen Shiel ridge which extends to 9 miles (14 km) in length, Sgurr an Doire Leathain rises to a height of 1010m (3314 feet) in the W of Highland Council area, 2½ miles (4 km) north of the Glenquoich Forest and 4½ miles (7 km) east northeast of Kinloch Hourn. Its name originates from Gaelic and means "peak of the broad thicket".
