Aonach air Chrith

It is one of seven peaks on the South Glen Shiel ridge which extends to 9 miles (14 km) in length and is reported to be one of the finest Scottish mountain ranges, with its height only once dropping below 800m (2625 feet). Aonach air Chrith, a mountain on the border of Lochaber and Skye and Lochalsh districts of Highland Council Area, is located in the eastern half of the South Glen Shiel Ridge, and rises to a height of 1021m (3350 feet). Its name originates from Gaelic and means "trembling hill".
