Castle Law

A hill in the SW Scottish Borders, Castle Law rises to approximately 230m (754 feet) overlooking the Slitrig Water, 1¼ miles (2 km) south southeast of Hawick. The remains of an Iron Age hill-fort lie on its summit, once surrounded by a pair of concentric defensive ramparts which have been much denuded by the removal of stone. There were entrances to the northeast and southwest.
