Volunteer Park

A rugby ground, stand and club-rooms on the right bank of the River Teviot in Hawick. It is home to Hawick Linden Rugby Football Club, together with Hawick Trades junior rugby team. The ground was gifted to the Hawick Common Good Fund in 2003 (managed by the Scottish Borders Council), having been bought in the 1920s by the Hawick Common Riding Committee from John Montagu Douglas Scott, the 7th Duke of Buccleuch (1864 - 1935). There is also an all-weather football pitch and a children's play park.
