Sgurr na Carnach

One of the Five Sisters peaks, Sgurr na Carnach is located on the National Trust for Scotland property of the Kintail Forest, east of Glen Shiel and within the Lochalsh district of Highland Council Area. It qualifies as a Munro. The sides of the ridge fall steeply down, with the average slope angle being around 30 degrees. Sgurr na Carnach rises to a height of 1002m (3287 feet) and its name originates from Gaelic but its meaning is obscure.
