Mill Hill

A summit of limited prominence in The Machars of Dumfries and Galloway, Mill Hill rises to just beyond 80m (262 feet) on the right bank of the Tarf Water, 2½ miles (4 km) southwest of Kirkcowan. Mill Hill is part an extensive drumlin field, deposited beneath ancient ice sheet and with its principal axis aligned NNE-SSW indicating the direction of flow.
