Ram Hill

A drumlin in The Machars of Dumfries and Galloway, Ram Hill rises to just beyond 95m (311 feet) between Craigeach Fell and Mindork Fell, a 2¼ miles (3.5 km) south southwest of Kirkcowan. This is one of a number of drumlins in this area, deposited under an ancient ice sheet and aligned NE-SW indicating the direction of flow.
