Castle Hill

A modest wooded summit in the W of Dumbarton in West Dunbartonshire, Castle Hill gives its name to the Castlehill district which surrounds it. This is traditionally thought to be the site of Cardross Castle where Robert the Bruce died in 1329 and now lies with the Cunninghame Graham Memorial Park.
