Girvan War Memorial and Stair Park

An area of undulating green space in South Ayrshire, Stair Park occupies an area of former dunes behind Girvan's sandy beach on Henrietta Street, a quarter-mile (0.5 km) southwest of the town centre. The land was presented the town in 1875 by the Countess of Stair. Its use is informal, but Girvan War Memorial is its most prominent feature. At the southern end of the park is an unusual and substantial 19th C. bandstand, said to be the last remaining bandstand of this era in South Ayrshire.

Ayrshire Coastal Path passes along the shore, while to the south is Doune Cemetery.
