Milldown

An oval hillock in NW Dumfries and Galloway, Milldown rises to 166m (544 feet) on the edge of the Galloway Forest, midway between Loch Maberry and the Loch of Fyntalloch. This is one of several drumlins hereabouts, deposited beneath an ancient ice sheet which once covered this area.
