Drumdow

A little drumlin in NW Dumfries and Galloway, Drumdow rises to just beyond 150m (492 feet) within plantation forest, to the southeast of the more prominent Darloskine and a half-mile (0.8 km) northwest of Polbae. The Southern Upland Way passes immediately to the south. This forms part of an extensive drumlin field which was deposited beneath an ancient ice sheet, and is aligned N-S suggesting the direction of flow.
