Corwar Hill

A little oval summit in NW Dumfries and Galloway, Corwar Hill rises to 152m (498 feet), deep within the Galloway Forest, a half-mile (1 km) northwest of Kilquhockadale and a mile (1.8 km) south southwest of Urrall Fell. It is one of a number of drumlins in this area, all deposited beneath an ancient ice sheet and is aligned N-S illustrating the suggesting of glacial flow.
